IRO Biocide is aiming to be a global leader in providing innovative, chemistry-based solutions to selectively destroy and control the growth of harmful microbes, with the focus mainly on water treatment biocides.

Products include 2 2-Dibromo-3-Nitrilopropionamide (DBNPA), 2-Bromo-2-Nitro-1 3-Propanediol (Bronopol), Polyhexamethyleneguanidine Hydrochloride (PHMG), Tetrakis(Hydroxymethyl)Phosphonium Sulfate(THPS) and other organic biocides.

Since established in 2007, Shandong IRO Biocide Chemicals has been developing sharply. In 2011, the total turnover achieves USD 80 million, total production achieves 50000MT, including 20000MT Benzalkonium Chloride, 20000MT CMIT/MIT series and 5000 MT THPS; within which 50% was exported.
